HCW@Home — Launch Appeal

HCW@Home is an open-source telemedicine platform, EU/Swiss-hosted and privacy-first. We’re launching a major new release tailored for NGOs and nonprofit health providers, and we’re inviting supporters on Open Collective to help us bring it to the field faster. 

What’s new in this release 

• Core rewrite to adopt the latest, secure, and maintainable tech—faster, safer, and easier to extend.
• Full Patient Dashboard for low-friction access to care: self-service scheduling, visit links, history, documents, reminders.
• A complete, modern admin interface: roles/permissions, branding, configuration, and localization.
• Always multilingual: first-class i18n with easy language addition (ideal for cross-border and field deployments).
• Automatic scheduling: smart availability, time-zones, buffers, reminders, and provider preferences.
• Video recording (optional): consent-aware, encrypted, with retention controls.
• AI analytics using an open-source stack (Ollama): on-premise summaries and quality checks—no patient data leaves your infrastructure.
